Mystery Continues
The last Scooby Doo series I watched was Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It is the 11th incarnation of the series produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network. Here, the characters were re-designed. Their original outfits were more stylized including Velma’s hairdo. Moreover, the series is darker, violent and realistic compared to the previous ones. Plus, they are solving mysteries in their home called Crystal Cove. All photos from: fanpop.com For me, this is the best ever Scooby Doo series produced because the series grew just as I grew. The issues in this series involve the gang themselves as well as their family. Scooby and Shaggy’s friendship were tested when Shaggy and Velma had a relationship. Daphne and Fred were supposed to get engaged but Fred cancelled it when he learned the mayor is not his real father. So Fred decided to leave Crystal Cove to find his real parents who were also part of the original Mystery Inc. Thus, the season 1 ended in heartache when the gang decided to split up. When I watched the last episode, I was devastated because I did not expect the ending. It was heartbreaking! I wanted to watch season two right away. Then I read some posts saying that there might not be a season 2. And I hated myself for reading that post. But I am happy now because season two has started! J
